SWOT Analysis – Game : Ringgz

Team: Akshay, Anusha, Balasubramanyam, Manoj

  • Learning time is minimum – about 5 minutes.
  • Keeps up the interest level and is very easy to play – engaging.
  • Requires strategy – mentally stimulating.
  • Can wrap up soon – game takes about 10-15 minutes to end.

  • Hard to accommodate more than four people.
  • People with some form of Color Vision Deficiency might not be able to distinguish the ring colors (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow)

  • A bigger board size could be used to give the game more depth.
  • Magnetic rings could be used instead of the current ones in order to make sure that they don’t get lost or displaced from the board, while playing.
  • A better method could be used to distinguish rings, to accommodate people with Color Vision Deficiency (use patterned rings instead of colored ones).
  • Digitization: This game could be implemented on a social platform (for example, Facebook) and made more fun to play by accommodating multiple players online.

  • Small children might swallow tiny pieces and end up getting choked.
