SWOT

Strengths:

  • Easy to learn
  • Fun and engaging
  • Any number of people can play
  • Good for analytical thinking skills
  • portable and replayable

Weaknesses:

  • No way to know for sure if there is really no set present; it’s also possible that someone recognizes a wrong set but no one notices it (no error checking mechanism in place).
  • What if two people find a set at the same time?

Opportunities:

  • Use if for educational purposes to train children to develop analytical skills
  • Good for memory training and concentration, especially for people with memory loss or ADD/ADHD

Threats:

  • If a card gets lost or damaged, you lose a set from the game.
  • Paper cut!
  • Arguments over who called the set first.

Digitalization:

  • As an online game, infinite number of people can play it for an infinite time from all over the world.
  • Get hints
  • If no sets are present, computer can figure it out and present more cards.
  • Can be made into an interactive touch screen game; players will be able to rearrange the cards to help find sets.
  • Have different game modes available; the number of traits can be changed according to the difficulty.

Different Purposes:

  • For people who have memory lose or concentration problems
  • Good social activity for bringing the family members closer
  • Use for educational purposes to train children to develop analytical skills.
