An experiment in automated game design.

An experiment in automated game design.

This is an experiment on using AI for automated game design by Michael Cook from the Imperial College. Is it possible that using Artificial Intelligence techniques a computer can learn the rules of what is and what is not fun by itself without humans in the loop? An analysis on microgames.

This is an interesting article on microgames, it shows how they’re built and an interesting analysis on its game design from a mechanic and a game world perspective.  This is one of the articles that helped on deciding the project’s scope and relation to the class. If you have some free time give it a shot!
